After so many complains about the ridiculous position the White House defended concerning the DOMA, Barack Obama decided to begin making things happen:

President Barack Obama, under growing criticism for not seeking to end the ban on openly gay men and women in the military, is extending benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees.

Not yet what we expect, but definetely a good beginning. Hoping this will not stop there.

“Remember when Emma Goldman said, “if there is no dancing at the revolution I’m not coming”? Well, tonight we have both. Yeah. Right. You know what? You, christian people, should STOP THIS SHIT ALREADY! Enough! For God’s sake! How come someone can be so selfish?! What do you know about other people’s lives?!

A couple of months ago, there was this horrendous case in Brazil about a 9 year old girl who was continuously raped by her stepfather and got pregnant. The reasonable thing to do, everyfuckingone knows, was to get an abortion. Read the rest of this entry »
